Hand-stitched Footwear
	Front-laced Shoe 14th + 15th century £120.00 adult sizes 4-13 Style Code: LHF	Genuine  turn-shoe with a 6mm (1/4 in) sole. Bifurcated latching-type ties fasten across the front-split and flap comes with heel-stiffeners. We recommend that you order these shoes with wooden patten style PAT-S. Heels: optional small heel available. Colours:saddle-tan, medium brown, mahogany, dark brown or black.
	Front-laced Boot 14th + 15th century £155.00 adult sizes 4-13 Style-Code: LHB	Genuine turn-shoe with a 6mm (1/4 in) sole. Closes at the front with three sets of double laces and has heel-stiffeners. We recommend that you order these shoes with wooden patten style PAT-S. Heels: optional small heel available. Colours: saddle-tan, medium brown, mahogany, dark brown or black.
	Variation of Front-laced Boot style LHB Price on request	This is a variation of boot style LHB, here shown with a single set of plain round bronze buckles. There is a choice of buckle styles available and the number of buckles is variable too. This style is also available with two buckles around the ankles and a horizontal lace around the top. You can also supply with us your own buckles. Just tell us what you want.
	Side-laced Boot 14th and 15th century £155.00 adult sizes 4-13 Style-Code: LHS	Genuine turn-shoe with a 6mm (1/4 in) sole. Closes at the inside of the foot with one long leather lace and has heel-stiffeners. We recommend that you order these shoes with wooden patten style PAT-S. Heels: optional small heel available. Colours: saddle-tan, medium brown, mahogany, dark brown or black. For fancy colours please ask for a quote.
	Variation of Side-laced Boot style LHB Price on request	This is a variation of boot style LHS, here shown custom-dyed in red and with openwork turn-downs of gold-leather. This particular boot is not historically authentic, but worked to the customers specification. We can undertake similar bespoke work for you.
	Front-latchet Shoe late 14th + 15th century £120.00 adult sizes 4-13 Style Code: LHL	Genuine  turn-shoe with a 6mm (1/4 in) sole. Closes with a bifurcated front-latchet on the outer side of the foot and has  heel-stiffeners. This shoe was worn not only by ladies but also by well-dressed fashionable men. We recommend that you order these shoes with wooden patten style PAT. Heels: optional small heel available. Colours: saddle-tan, medium brown, mahogany, dark brown or black. 	Wooden Patten late 14th + 15th century £75.00 adult sizes 4-13 Style Code: PAT	Wooden Patten to complement shoe LHL or LML. Such wooden overshoes were commonly worn out of doors and should be ordered together with the shoes to complement and protect them. 	Wooden Patten with Poulaine 1370-1475 AD adult sizes 4-13 £85.00 with plain leather strap £110.00 with flower pattern and edge-binding as seen here Style Code PAT-L	Wooden Patten with a single leather-strap. Her it is stamped with a flower-pattern and edge-binding. A variety of ornamentations like stamped flower patterns and coloured embroidery are available. Please contact us for designs and quotes.

Wooden Pattens (more styles under development)
In medieval times wooden pattens would be worn almost always out of doors and even indoors. They raise your good leather shoes beyond the puddles and keep your feet warm and dry. The initial expense saves a lot of money in the long run as the soles of your leather shoes just won't wear out when protected by these. Indeed one is not properly medievally shod without these.

Adjustable nail fastening on toestrap, pewter buckle on ankle-strap and leather hinge under the joint of the foot. Usually in stock and goes with shoe styles EML, LHF, LHB, LHS, LMF and LMB. Machine-stitched Footwear

It has a 3.5mm (1/7in) thick sole and ties. It is tough but not quite as hardwearing as our hand-stitched shoes and makes a good starter model. We recommend that you order these shoes with wooden patten style PAT-S.
	Front-latchet Shoe 14th + 15th century £40.00 adult sizes 4-13 £35.00 adult sizes 1-3 Style Code: LML	We offer this common shoe style of the period in a budget version. It has a 3.5mm (1/7in) thick sole and ties. It is tough but not quite as hardwearing as our hand-stitched shoes and makes a good starter model. You can complement these shoes with wooden patten style PAT. Please note: delivery times for the pattens may take longer than for the shoes.

It has a 3.5mm (1/7 in) thick sole and lacings. It is tough but not quite as hardwearing as our hand-stitched version of the same boot-style and makes a good starter-model. Extras
Available with all our footwear

Heel Cushions (Price GBP 4.00): These are modern leather covered latex wedges that you can wear inside your shoes. They help to prevent painful heels if you are not used to walking in flat-soled shoes. As they are loose you can order as many pairs as you like to wear with other shoes as well. In this case please specify for what shoe-size you are ordering.

Small Heels (Price: GBP 15.00): These consist of a 6mm thick leather patch tunnel-stitched to the heel of the shoes. These heels are fully authentic and easily replaceable. We strongly recommend them as they prolong the life of your shoes, especially if you intend to walk on tarmac a lot.

Colours (included in Price):  These hand-stitched shoes come in five colours:  saddle-tan, medium brown, mahogany, dark brown and black. Please specify when ordering.

Fancy Colours (ask for a quote): Some selected styles come in special colours. We will try to match your clothes when we dye your shoes for you. If we dye shoes for you we consider that a personal adjustment and the shoes will be excluded from our returns policy.
